it's complex
or some say
complicated
especially with dreams
but nevertheless important
the trucks in the alley are taking away the sorted recycle
to where I do not know, but I know my dream
was about having to take a Math test over
and there were lots of things I could not find, bear with me...
i could not find out how I had done before, like what mark I had got on the
previous exam.
I assumed that it was a failure, but I wasn't sure, so I tried to find the class for the summer,
or information about how or what I was supposed to do, like summer school.
People were crowded together, like a subway at rush hour, surging into and out of passageways.
No one seemed to know anything. I felt like giving up.
It felt like the whole thing had happened before, for me and all these people around me.

And it had.
I just left before, and now I was going to leave again.
But no.
I wasn't. I was dreaming and I could do something about it.
At least this.

and they pass out the questions and booklets and im writing furiously trying

to get it all down, but i

only finish 3 questions, and there is a lot of shifting around

out of the 4

and i find out during the test that this is a

dream

running jogging
Going into a house at the start of the trail and having
Two bags there
A big round one – I saw my dad's shoes in there when we were going
And a smaller one
Changing shoes
Four people
My dad. Marguerite or Al or fred or Nava,
Saw her clearly brushing her teeth
When we were packing up to leave, the travel glass in her hand, with water in it

Maybe my mom
And quiet Susan
And really running down the trail far
Seeing the trees on the sides like
Larkspur.. Eucalyptus
The leaves on the ground
Going way from, the distance
Turning back as a decision, is it time, can we go farther

Just a place where we stopped
A family let us put out bags there until we ran

My dad had gotten permission for the use of the hose, water running,
like for brushing teeth
And the mystic of how far to go

almost impossible to recall more than a few fragments at first friend chris and was that paris and the four of them took the limo from me, even the champain, and i started walking thru back alleys,

there was the whole thing about the art installation

red framed pictures, framed at weird angles, red on red, and bent

but the alleys were connected zigzaging back and forth away from the street

hurrying, trying to get to class ontime,

and also before the limo would get there, to show them, looking for a way to get to the road where there were taxis, and really interesting

back doors, porches, entrances to houses, but not to the main road which I could hear was

just on the other side of the houses

there was a sudden movement behind the compost bin
i noticed it when i was looking at the bees hovering
over the pear boughs
i remembered the extension courses advertised about the bees
and beekeeping courses that made me gladder
and
out of the corner of my eye
it looked like a deer behind the compost bin
then it wasn't there
but i got a whole rush of information
rapid data input faster that i can read
and i can read fast with the training
