sang a satsang song as the stretch
t h e s t r e t c h
was on account of
yoga
hold it and breathe
the little bird sang as my lung organs breathe
my maat massage by breathe
massaging liver kidney gall
bladder
bile ducts, small and large intestines
colons wracking
expel toxins
letting it go like the shrill little bird sings
trills chirps panpipe-like
telling me
you can do more
hold it stretch hold it b r e a t h e
like a little bird telling me

beginning is murky

but i'm going into a huge examination hall

and they pass out the questions and booklets and im writing furiously trying

to get it all down, but i

only finish 3 questions, and there is a lot of shifting around

out of the 4

and i find out during the test that this is a

dream

so it is not the same, only like a practice one

i don't have to hand in everything or anything

and all the other people, who i think

i was on the boys' side ???

hand in clear out, me, with my question paper all scrawled

AND my answer booklet leave

running jogging
Going into a house at the start of the trail and having
Two bags there
A big round one – I saw my dad's shoes in there when we were going
And a smaller one
Changing shoes
Four people
My dad. Marguerite or Al or fred or Nava,
Saw her clearly brushing her teeth
When we were packing up to leave, the travel glass in her hand, with water in it

two others
Maybe my mom
And quiet Susan
And really running down the trail far
Seeing the trees on the sides like
Larkspur.. Eucalyptus
The leaves on the ground
Going way from, the distance
Turning back as a decision, is it time, can we go farther

Whose house
Just a place where we stopped
A family let us put out bags there until we ran
Ran for exercise
Ran for a purpose

My dad had gotten permission for the use of the hose, water running,
like for brushing teeth
And the mystic of how far to go
Because it is double back,
Otherwise they could catch up with us, if it was on the way 'home'
Not really home, but on our way

A camper
van, the bags in back, nosing around and out of the
road by the stream
by which we ran
making up for sitting so long in the van
sensible motion, in somewhere in nowhere
we ran
surprising feet, feeling better when we
would sit

almost impossible to recall more than a few fragments at first friend chris and was that paris and the four of them took the limo from me, even the champain, and i started walking thru back alleys,

there was the whole thing about the art installation

red framed pictures, framed at weird angles, red on red, and bent

but the alleys were connected zigzaging back and forth away from the street

hurrying, trying to get to class ontime,

and also before the limo would get there, to show them, looking for a way to get to the road where there were taxis, and really interesting

back doors, porches, entrances to houses, but not to the main road which I could hear was

just on the other side of the houses

o i had to go, so i found this corner, and as i approached it i woke up
